55 Yards

This premium Bar in the centre of Newquay has a sophisticated and stylish environment. 55 Yards offers a wide variety of the finest quality Cornish spirits, independent craft beers and ciders, and wines hand picked from around the world. Another added bonus is that 55 Yards also has a bottle shop, so if you find something new that you like you can buy a bottle to take home with you too. One of our favourite spots to go out for drinks!

The Bowgie Inn

Perfectly perched on the West Pentire Headland, overlooking the golden sands of Crantock Beach, the Bowgie is the place where you can momentarily escape to a slower pace of life. With traditional home-cooked pub food being served daily, why not make a day of it and walk there from us? You can enjoy the live bands or watch most sporting events on their new 70-inch HD TV’s.

Beach Bar – Fistral

The Beach Bar has become a hub for locals and visitors alike, there is no better place to enjoy a beer with friends due to the inspiring views of the Cornish coastline and relaxed atmosphere. Head over during the day to relax or in the evening go out for drinks and take part in one of their silent discos.

Beach Bar – The Slope

Serving up tasty burgers along with beers from the excellent Sharp’s Brewery and locally roasted Coffee. The Slope Beach Bar offers the perfect spot to kick back and soak up the beach bar vibe and stunning ocean views. Based on the sand at Great Western beach, The Slope takes its name from the hangout of Newquay’s inaugural surfers in the 1960’s.

Central Inn

As the name suggests, The Central Inn is located right in the centre of town. Whether you want to enjoy a leisurely cappuccino on The Central’s outdoor terrace, fancy an evening mojito or want to enjoy a relaxed meal with family or friends, The Central provides a destination to suit all. With some of the biggest TV screens we have seen in Newquay this is definitely a good location to catch any sporting event you wish to see.

Dead Famous

If you’re looking for a night on the town, why not head to Dead Famous. This rock inspired, L.A style liquor-fuelled late lounge has a wide variety of entertainment on offer. With live music frequently on and other live events scheduled throughout the year, it’s never quiet at the Dead Famous.

The Fort Inn

Situated next to us, The Fort Inn enjoys stunning views over the coast, it is a welcoming pub that caters for all members of the community. They have pool tables and always show the latest Football games. The Fort is a lovely place to spend an afternoon sitting in the summer sun.

The Griffin Inn

The Griffin is a family run pub and has been under the same ownership since 1991. They offer a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and do a delicious carvery on a Sunday.

Red Lion Pub

The Red Lion is a wonderful pub just at the end of Fore Street. It has beautiful sea views over the harbour and ocean and is a very popular pub with the locals. The food is delicious and the staff are wonderful.


Toast Café and Wine Bar offers a unique take on your restaurant and bar scene in Newquay. By day, this lovely establishment is a café that serves a variety of food from their menu. By evening this sophisticated bar offers a variety of tapas style dishes to enjoy alongside a cocktail or two.

Tom Thumb

Another great place to go out for drinks this high end speak easy bar situated at the top of town serves a premium range of Cocktails and Coffee with a unique and extensive range of Spirits, Wines, Beers and Cider. At Tom Thumb they keep things alive and fresh, most of their vermouths are made in house and a lot of the herbs they use are grown at an allotment offsite.
